Cozying Up to the Season

Autumn is here! The leaves change color, there's a crisp in the air, and the Starbucks lines are longer. As exciting as the return of your favorite seasonal drink is, it isn't as wonderful as the festivities Fall brings along. Mostly because the lines become too long to for me to grab a drink and still make it in time for my morning classes. ANYWAYS, Pumpkin patches open up, jack-o-lanterns are carved, and fall fashion is displayed.

As a token to this season's colors, my sister, boyfriend and I dressed accordingly. I wore a sheer white off-the-shoulder blouse with floral detailing and a mustard yellow corduroy skirt. To complete my Autumn look, I wore brown suede booties.

Although it's Fall, Houston refuses to follow the seasons of the year rules and is still quite warm (Seriously, we were all wearing chunky cardigans in anticipation of cooler weather, but it was too hot to wear them). However, let's go out and enjoy the 4•F difference in temperature that this great city has to offer!
