A Flirty Valentine's Day Look

Hi everyone! I'm so sorry that it's been over a month since my last post. School has taken over my life and it took me a while to find a new normal. I'm happy to say that I've gotten used to my study and workout routine, so I will be able to post more consistently.

This year, my boyfriend and I were unable to celebrate Valentine's Day, so we went out for lunch this past Friday. Houston's weather was in my favor, so I took advantage of this bright sunny day to wear a colorful floral dress. After several weeks of rolling out of bed and picking out any clean basic tee to wear with a baggy cardigan, it was nice to play dress up for a change.

This piece stood out amongst a rack of dresses several years ago at this cute boutique in the Philippines. I've never seen anything like it in any of my favorite American stores, and I just had to have it. I tend to stick with classic colors such as white, black, navy, and beige, however a pop of color never hurt anyone!
