Finally, the day we have all been waiting for... it's finally summer!!! I don't know about you, but I had a countdown to summer since the last day of winter break.

The toughest class I had this semester was probably microbiology. I took it because it's a prerequisite for the health schools I'm considering such as medical, physician assistant, optometry, and genetic counseling. There was a lot of memorization to do before applying to a situation, and I found that boring. I realized that I didn't want to focus on curing people. I wanted to prevent diseases from happening at all, so now I'm leaning more towards genetic counseling. Learning about microbes I considered going into bioremediation (when microorganisms are introduced into an environment to clean up pollution) in case I don't end up going to graduate school. However, we'll see what I decide on doing with my life. I think it'll be very interesting for me to read through old blog posts in the future to see how I go about making my decision.

Now that school is over, I'm able to hang out with my friends more. The other day they wanted to have a photoshoot to update their Facebook after not having posted in over a year, so we got dressed up and took pictures. I wore a lemon yellow romper with grey florals. It has a bow, which adds a nice touch. I absolutely adore this piece, it's fun, cute, and perfect for the Houston heat. I kept the rest of my outfit simple with brown sandals and dainty jewelry. I look forward to bringing in more color to my wardrobe through out this sunny season!

Cheers,

Danish
